Beautiful composition, Vintage.
I especially like the tree and dingy in the forground, and the circles of ripples in the extreme foreground that suggest you might have stepped in to the water to make this shot.
vintage: Thanks Ray for commenting and no my feet didnt get wet
This is a real eye-pleaser, Vintage! WOW! That tree with the rowboat on the side is the frosting on the cake!

One of those times when having the horizon in the centre works for me - I would not want to have missed any of that beautiful sky. (:o)

Thank you for this. Eight years ago we did a 3 week tour of part of Australia, which included Brisbane and One of the places we went to was Victoria Point to visit my late Dad's sister, who I hadn't seen since 1950!

Is this area flooded, Vintage? I don't recognise the tree (but I wouldn't anyway unless it was an oak, a beech or a silver birch!) but I'm just wondering whether these do grow in water normally. Either way, a very lovely scene well captured.
vintage: The tide was high no flood yes this type of tree is quite often on the water edge with mangrows.thanks for your comment
Love the blues. I would have taken a chunk off the sky as the horizon is slap in the middle of the picture, or perhaps off the bottom.
vintage: Bill I crop side ways but the tree and high cloud seem inportant.thanks for your constructive comment
